What You'll Be Doing

As a Credit Controller, you'll manage an allocated portfolio of broker and client accounts, helping to recover outstanding payments while delivering a professional and customer-focused service.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll proactively manage aged debt, resolve queries, carry out reconciliations and build strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders. You'll help identify practical solutions to payment issues, ensure credit control processes are followed, and contribute to achieving our cash flow objectives.

What You Bring

  • A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • A proactive, positive attitude with the confidence to solve problems and make informed decisions.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, brokers and customers.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in collections or credit control.
  • Experience working within a finance or accounts receivable environment.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and basic Pivot Tables.
  • Experience managing customer accounts and resolving payment queries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
