Salary Range: £28,697 - £31,573 per annum

Work Location: Elizabeth II Court, Winchester (Hybrid Working)

Hours per week: 37

Contract Type: Permanent

The Role:

The Credit Control team plays an important role in recovering debt on behalf of Hampshire County Council and our partners.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage a portfolio of overdue accounts, ensuring effective debt recovery action is taken through to receipt of payment
  • Liaise with our partners to resolve complex account queries effectively and efficiently
  • Prepare and share clear and concise reports to your management team and our partners

What we’re looking for:

  • A strong understanding of debt recovery processes and account administration
  • Demonstrates core values of integrity and respect, professionalism and working together as one organisation
  • A team player with strong collaborative skills
  • Excellent communication skills for building positive relationships with our colleagues, customers and partners
  • Sound IT skills and able to accurately record and present information
