Position: Collections Analyst/ Credit Controller
Location: Swindon, UK
Client: Pharmaceutical
Type: Contract
Main Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and take ownership of collecting outstanding payments in line with agreed payment terms.
- Lead collection activities, proactively following up on overdue accounts to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Investigate, resolve and monitor customer queries and disputes to minimise delays in payment.
- Analyse and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring account information is accurate and up to date.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and participate in regular meetings to resolve issues and improve collection performance.
- Upload invoices to customer portals and support additional projects and ad hoc tasks as required.
Main Requirements
- Previous experience within Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Collections.
- A strong background in B2B collections and customer account management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage challenging conversations professionally and diplomatically.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with experience investigating account discrepancies and resolving queries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
- The ability to prioritise workloads, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
