Credit Controller in Canterbury
As a Credit Controller in Canterbury, you'll be managing the day-to-day credit control processes to ensure smooth cash flow for this organisation. Your role will involve chasing payments, reconciling accounts, and helping maintain financial stability within the accounting and finance team.

Description
- Manage and monitor outstanding debts to ensure timely payments.
- Contact clients to chase overdue invoices and resolve payment issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and communications.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare and issue statements and reminders to clients.
- Work closely with internal teams to address billing queries.
- Provide regular updates on cash flow and outstanding debts to the finance team.
- Support the team with any additional accounting and finance tasks as required.

Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- A proactive approach to resolving issues and meeting deadlines.

Job Offer
- Hourly rate of £16.00 to £20.00, dependent on the level of experience.
- Temporary position offering flexibility in working hours.
