Job Title
JOR Property Ltd are an established property maintenance company based in Aberdeen. We are urgently seeking a full-time and experienced Credit Controller. Based in our Market Street offices, parking available on site.
Job Description
Applicants must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of credit control procedures and processes, and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
You will have an excellent telephone manner and good interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused outlook and be able to work and communicate effectively on your own and as part of a team. Our finances are handled via a web-based system, Xero, full training will be given.

Potential Role and Responsibilities
- Chasing overdue sales invoices promptly and professionally. Must not be shy of making the many telephone calls required to secure payments
- Recording and tracking detailed communications with customers
- Handling invoice queries promptly, liaising with the team
- Managing simple procedure court claims
- Excellent communication skills are required, with a high degree of confidence in applying tactful pressure whilst remaining professional
- Assisting in other sales ledger functions as required
- Prioritising work as appropriate and efficiently
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have a minimum of 3 years of strong credit control experience
- Be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Establish and maintain good relationships with customers and co-workers
- Be highly organized
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Have a flexible and positive attitude
