Job Title

The Credit Controller manages the day-to-day accounts receivable and collections activity across an assigned portfolio of B2B customers, working within established processes and with guidance from senior team members and the Credit Control Manager. The focus is timely cash collection, accurate cash posting, and prompt resolution of routine billing queries, escalating more complex accounts and disputes as needed.

What You'll Do

Collections and Cash

  • Manage day-to-day collections across an assigned portfolio, chasing overdue payments and following up with customers to bring cash in on time.
  • Perform cash application and posting, ensuring receipts are accurately and promptly allocated to customer accounts.
  • Prioritise daily workload based on account aging and collection priority, escalating higher-risk or complex accounts to senior team members.
  • Flag at-risk or deteriorating accounts to the Credit Control Manager for guidance.

Case Queue and Query Resolution

  • Manage and resolve routine AR and billing cases within defined SLAs, escalating complex cases to a senior Credit Controller or the manager.
  • Research and resolve standard billing queries, partnering with Billing, Sales, and Account Management as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely notes and documentation on all account activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
