As a credit controller you will bring integrity, control and effective process to UK&I cash collection allowing the business to operate with agility and freedom but driving our cash and working capital allowing us to invest cash to ultimately become the leading brand in wellbeing.

Please Note: This role is fixed term until August, 2024.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting cash and maintaining our aged debt in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintenance of month end reporting of the aged debt in line with Business Unit needs
  • Optimising credit control processes and controls to ensure we are effective requirements but minimal interruption to day to day business
  • Create, monitor and deliver simple but effective controls and risk management process to the business
  • Deliver effective processes which allow us to collect and process our cash and manage queries in a simple yet effective way which allows us to deliver our financial goals
  • Work closely with the internal sales team and external sales teams and central hubs to ensure we maintain and enhance our relationships, communications and ways of working
  • Ensure that the UK has simple but effective controls that ensure the we are audit compliant but allow the commercial and strategic teams to not be tied up in process

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • A minimum of 5 years experience within Credit Control
  • Experienced SAP user in a credit control environment
  • Experience within FMCG Grocers would be advantageous
  • CICM Qualifications would be advantageous
  • A passion for control, compliance and risk management
  • An understanding of all areas of the controlling, knowing the key risks within a business and how to manage them effectively.
  • The ability to make technical financial and legal topics simple for non finance audiences.
  • A mindset for accuracy and passion for on time in full
  • You seek out and give feedback to enable the development of yourself and your contribution
