About Us

At Target Components, we're more than just a technology distributor. As an employee-owned business, everyone shares in our success and benefits when the company grows. We're proud of our supportive, down-to-earth culture and believe people do their best work when they feel valued, trusted, and empowered.

About the Role

With exciting growth plans ahead, we're looking for a Credit Controller / Finance Assistant who takes ownership of their ledger, understands the story behind the numbers, and works with customers to resolve payments in the right way.

You'll know how to balance persistence with professionalism, when to push for payment, and when to work with a customer to find a practical solution. As we introduce new finance software and streamline processes, this role will have the opportunity to grow into a broader Finance Assistant position while retaining a strong focus on credit control.

This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making a real contribution to both customer experience and business performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
