Experienced Credit Hire Litigator / Fee Earner
I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Hire Litigator / Fee Earner to join a well-established litigation team in Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of litigated Credit Hire claims
- Handling fast-track, multi-track and liability-disputed matters
- Progressing cases from issue of proceedings through to trial
- Complying with court directions, orders and procedural deadlines
- Negotiating settlements and securing the best possible outcomes for clients
- Maintaining regular communication with Credit Hire providers
- Building strong relationships with hire companies and other key stakeholders
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider litigation team
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records

About You
- Previous experience handling Credit Hire claims is essential
- Strong experience managing litigated RTA matters through to resolution
- Good understanding of Credit Hire case law and litigation procedure
- Knowledge of the MOJ Protocols, Pre-Action Protocols and Civil Procedure Rules
- Understanding of personal injury claims and associated costs
- Comfortable working towards KPIs including billing, settlement rates and case duration
- Strong organisation and caseload management skills
- Confident working independently while also contributing to a wider team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience using Proclaim would be advantageous but is not essential
