Job Title

Salary between £30,000–£34,000 DOE
Based in Manchester / Hybrid
Full-time, Monday-Friday

We're working with a well-established law firm who are looking to recruit a Senior Credit Hire Paralegal to join their Personal Injury team in Manchester.
This role involves managing a caseload of pre-litigated personal injury claims involving credit hire, covering cases progressing through the MOJ and OIC portals as well as those outside the portal.
You'll be responsible for progressing claims, reviewing medical evidence, assessing quantum, drafting pleadings and liaising with credit hire organisations, while managing your own caseload and working towards team targets.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury claims involving credit hire
  • Progressing claims through the MOJ and OIC portals and handling cases outside the portal
  • Reviewing medical evidence, valuing claims and carrying out quantum assessments
  • Drafting pleadings and preparing case plans
  • Managing liability, limitation dates and procedural requirements
  • Liaising with credit hire organisations and other relevant parties
  • Monitoring case progress and working towards financial and non-financial targets
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant procedures
  • Providing a high standard of client care while managing a busy caseload

What we need from you

  • At least 18 months' experience handling personal injury claims
  • Previous experience dealing with credit hire claims
  • Ability to commute to the Manchester office
