Salary:

£26,265

Contract Type:

Job Purpose

To undertake a training programme which will expose you to a variety of duties and experiences by way of rotating through a number of separate functions/departments of the Bank.

The programme covers a period of 24 months, where the Graduate Trainee will spend time in the following business areas:

Credit Control

In line with the Bank’s Lending Policies, you would support the team with the assessment and approval of annual reviews submitted by the relationship teams, valuation property reports prepared by Bank panel valuers as a condition for new lending or re-valuation reports to support existing loans’ “in-life” management. This ensures the Bank’s exposure to credit risk remains acceptable, and there is no detrimental effect on the credit profile for the exposure connection.

Credit – Real Estate

To provide the Real Estate Finance Underwriting Team with support with credit applications and ensure all applications comply with our Lending Policy. Also ensure that all post sanction administration procedures are timely and compliant with Bank’s policies and procedures. You will also have the opportunity to complete reviews and recommendations during your time in the Underwriting Team

Credit – Asset Finance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
