Salary: From 48K, depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week (between 8am and 4pm)

Working style: Hybrid – 3 days per week on site

Location: Calverton, Nottingham


We’re looking for an experienced Credit Reporting Manager to lead our Credit Reporting Team on a hybrid basis, driving high-quality insight, reporting excellence, and data-led decision-making across the Credit function.

As Credit Reporting Manager, you will lead the design, delivery, maintenance and analysis of high-quality management information. Using a range of data modelling and BI tools, you will develop and produce accurate Credit and MI reports, provide meaningful analysis of departmental KPIs, and ensure Senior Management and the wider business have the insight needed to make informed strategic decisions.


How you will make a difference:

  • Manage, motivate and develop direct reports, improving team efficiency and encouraging a culture of self-development.
  • Identify requirements for new and enhanced management information, using stakeholder feedback, business priorities and your own initiative.
  • Guide prioritisation within the Reporting Team, ensuring alignment with business needs and Finance/Credit strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with your peer group to manage short- to mid-term workload priorities, considering ongoing activity within the Credit Department and across the wider business.
  • Encourage innovation within the team, exploring opportunities to improve reporting through automation, AI-enabled tools and process improvement where appropriate.
  • Ensure the highest possible quality of team output, with a clear focus on data accuracy, integrity and actionable analysis.
  • Oversee and quality check the creation and maintenance of report formats, dashboards, automated data outputs, standard reports and other end-user information resources.
  • Support reporting-related projects and oversee complex ad hoc analytical requirements in line with changing business priorities.
  • Provide meaningful data-led insight to the Credit Management Team and contribute to departmental decision-making through a solution-focused approach.
  • Act as the escalation point for reporting and data issues that cannot be resolved within the team, coordinating with BI, technology teams, system providers and business stakeholders where required.

Skills For Success

  • Experience using Cognos
  • Experience using data visualisation tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL; experience with Python or other automation tools would be advantageous
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, VBA and macros
  • Experience creating and managing datasets and databases
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform
  • Ability to interpret data from multiple sources and translate it into clear, meaningful and actionable insight
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data integrity and accuracy
  • A continuous improvement mindset and curiosity to learn new tools, processes and technologies
