About Selaris Capital
Selaris Capital is an emerging European Credit manager founded by Demian Brasil, a portfolio manager with 25 years of experience and a proven track record in European credit. We are growing our team and hiring a Credit Analyst to join the investment team, working closely with the CIO on the fund's European Long/Short European Credit strategy.
About the Job
This is a research analyst position on the credit research team, working directly with the CIO to generate and stress-test investment ideas for the fund's Long/Short European Credit book. The focus is on European performing high yield, primarily trading bonds and CDS.
What You Will Do
- Generate and pitch long and short investment ideas across European HY credits, working closely with the CIO
- Produce in-depth issuer and sector credit analysis, including capital structure and relative value analysis
- Monitor existing positions and maintain conviction/risk views as new information emerges
- Contribute to portfolio construction and pair-trade/relative value screening
- Use AI tools to augment and accelerate the research process, with a clear discipline around verifying outputs

What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 6 years of buy-side credit analyst experience; ideally within long/short credit strategies
- Strong European high yield bond and CDS experience (leveraged loans not required)
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Accounting background or CFA desirable
- Genuine AI enthusiasm: demonstrated ability to build tools, automate research steps, or accelerate idea generation, not just use AI as a faster search engine; familiarity with Claude Code or equivalent is a plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in joining an emerging hedge fund
- Excellent written and analytical communication
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to maintain relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels
