Credit Research Analyst - High Yield / Distressed Debt
Our client, a respected boutique financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled Credit Research Analyst to join their London based team. If you have a strong academic background in finance and a knack for conducting thorough and accurate credit research, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Conducting in-depth analysis of companies' financial statements and creditworthiness.
- Evaluating credit risks and making recommendations based on the analysis.
- Monitoring economic trends and market developments that may impact credit portfolios.
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is shared.
- Preparing detailed reports and presentations on credit research findings.
- Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practises.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Credit Research Analyst or similar role.
- Prior experience in High Yield, Illiquid or Distressed Debt.
- Strong knowledge of financial modelling and analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
