We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Credit Risk Analyst.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Monitor portfolio performance against key indicators, pro-actively identifying risks and highlighting opportunities to support sustainable growth
  • Develop and refine credit risk strategies to support data-driven decisions that balance customer needs and business goals
  • Contributing to projects by working alongside experienced risk professionals to streamline workstreams and deliver key initiatives, with the opportunity to own meaningful projects supported by lead analysts
  • Deliver meaningful data analysis, translating findings into clear recommendations and presenting insights to key stakeholders
  • Share your findings with colleagues and stakeholders, balancing risk, reward, and customer impact by blending analysis, stakeholder conversations, and practical decision-making
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and address risks, maintaining strong governance and learning how effective controls keep decisions safe and fair
  • Build your expertise in retail risk management, with opportunities to learn and collaborate across the wider business to learn how each area works together to support customers and manage risk

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experience analysing data using software such as SAS, SQL, R, Stata, or Python
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team
  • Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines
  • A keen interest in retail banking, risk management, analytics, or business performance
