Credit Risk Analyst
At Premier Foods, we've redesigned our Finance organisation to create a stronger, more specialised and future-focused operating model within Premier Business Services (PBS).
As part of this transformation, we're creating exciting opportunities for talented professionals to develop their expertise, broaden their experience and help shape the future of Financial Operations.
Supporting Growth Through Smarter Credit Decisions
Behind every successful customer relationship is a well-informed credit decision.
As a Credit Risk Analyst at Premier Foods, you'll play a key role in helping us balance commercial opportunity with effective risk management. Working across a diverse customer portfolio, you'll provide the insight and analysis that helps protect cash flow, minimise risk and support sustainable business growth.
You'll work closely with colleagues across Credit & Collections, Commercial and Finance teams, providing recommendations that influence decision-making and support some of the UK's most loved brands.
And this isn't just about reviewing financial statements and applying policy. It's about understanding the story behind the numbers, identifying emerging risks, asking the right questions and helping the business make better, more informed decisions.
Our redesigned team structure creates greater opportunities to build specialist expertise, develop deeper commercial understanding and contribute to the continuous improvement of how Financial Operations supports the business. You'll be part of a function that's investing in capability, embracing best practice and creating clear opportunities for development and progression.
If you enjoy combining analytical thinking with commercial awareness, you'll find plenty of opportunities to make an impact and develop your expertise with us.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key role in assessing, monitoring and managing customer credit risk across our Accounts Receivable portfolio, helping ensure we make robust, commercially sound and well-governed credit decisions that support business growth while protecting cash flow and minimising bad debt exposure.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
