We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join our Client in their expanding and well-regarded Finance Team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assessing new and existing customer credit applications and reviewing financial information to determine creditworthiness
  • Conducting credit checks and analysing customer financial data, payment history and other relevant information
  • Making informed recommendations on credit limits and terms in line with company policies
  • Monitoring existing customer accounts and identifying potential credit risks or changes in financial circumstances
  • Providing clear feedback and recommendations to internal stakeholders regarding credit decisions
  • Producing regular credit risk reports and analysis for management
  • Maintaining accurate records of credit assessments, decisions and supporting information
  • Identifying trends and potential areas of risk within the customer portfolio
  • Supporting the wider Finance Team with ad-hoc analysis and credit-related projects
  • Ensuring all credit decisions are made in accordance with internal procedures and relevant regulations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience within a Credit Risk, Credit Analysis, Finance or similar analytical role
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience assessing financial information and making evidence-based decisions
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and the ability to analyse and present data effectively
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise feedback
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A commercially aware approach with the confidence to challenge and make recommendations
  • Ideally, experience using credit reference agencies, credit scoring systems or financial risk assessment tools
