Role and company overview
We are currently partnering with an innovative commodities Fintech group on an exciting credit risk advisory and business analysis opportunity, sitting at the heart of their commercial team.
The key service offering is optimisation of credit risk signals, including prepayment risks, settlement risks, including margin risks, collateral loss, fraud risks and concentration risk, amongst others. Our client works across the commodities cycle and their networks including some of the largest physical and financial trading firms in the World.

You will work help present the platform to clients, assessing data, taking detailed client feedback and looking to improve the overall client experience. To help foster trust, the profile sought is a subject matter expert with a minimum of 3 years credit risk analysis experience within a physical or financial commodity trading firm, as well as a strong passion for credit technology, AI and modernisation of the credit risk process.
This is a dynamic, young firm with strong prospects for growth. It would suit a motivated professional, looking to work within an entrepreneurial and ambitious environment.

Skills Required
- A minimum of 3 years credit risk experience within the commodity trading sector
- Previous work within credit business analysis, system configuration, implementation and testing would be a strong benefit
- Coding skills within Python, SQL, C++ or Java are advantageous
- Prior client facing experience within commodity trading is valuable but not essential
- A masters degree in computer science or technology is an advantage
