Credit Risk Controller

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Risk Controller to join our Finance team. In this key role, you will be responsible for monitoring customer credit risk, managing credit limits, supporting debt collection activities, and helping to protect the business from financial exposure.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of credit control and risk management to contribute to a growing and successful organisation.

Day to Day

  • Assess and monitor customer creditworthiness and financial risk.
  • Review and approve new customer accounts in line with company credit policies.
  • Set, review, and manage customer credit limits.
  • Conduct regular credit checks and risk assessments.
  • Monitor aged debt and support collection activities to minimise overdue balances.
  • Investigate and resolve account queries and payment disputes.
  • Liaise with customers, sales teams, and external agencies regarding credit-related matters.
  • Produce credit risk reports and analyse trends to identify potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Recommend process improvements to strengthen credit risk management.

What will you bring?

  • Previous experience in a Credit Control, Credit Risk, Finance, or Accounts Receivable role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
