Role Description

The Credit Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Coventry. This role involves engaging with prospective and existing customers to explain credit products, assess their needs, and guide them through application and approval processes. The Credit Sales Representative will manage a portfolio of accounts, follow up on leads, maintain accurate records, and support customers with questions regarding repayments and product features.

The role also requires active participation in local marketing or outreach activities to grow the customer base and build long-term relationships.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in credit sales, financial services, or customer-facing roles within a regulated environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage customers and explain financial products clearly.
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline, work toward targets, and maintain accurate customer and account records.
  • Solid numerical and analytical skills for reviewing credit information and supporting risk-aware sales decisions.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
  • Comfort working on-site in Coventry, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Basic IT proficiency, including use of CRM systems and standard office software.
  • Prior experience in credit, lending, or retail finance is an advantage; relevant vocational or academic qualifications in business, finance, or a related field are beneficial.
