International bank seek a Credit Underwriter to join their Corporate and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lending Team
Role Type: Permanent
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
5 days office based - West London
About the Role
Processing and underwriting of Corporate, Commercial Retail Estate proposals, BTL and personal Loans
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Underwriting of Corporate, CRE, personal, BTL Loans and ensuring successful execution of the transactions being pursued along with related client & introducer relationship management.
- Manage the assessment and processing of lending proposals from the business team, and presentation of proposals to Sanctioning Committee.
- Operational responsibility for the annual review process for all existing credit portfolio loans to ensure that all borrowing requirements and covenants are being adhered to.
- Minimizing of credit risks associated with loan applications in accordance with the Banks operating policies and procedures. Undertake site visits as required.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Knowledge of UK lending environment
- Proven experience in underwriting or credit assessment of CRE, Corporate, BTL and personal loan credit proposals
