About the Role
As Crematorium Manager, you will oversee the delivery of respectful and legally compliant cremation services. You will manage frontline staff, ensure high standards of customer care and maintain operational excellence in line with environmental and health & safety regulations. You will also contribute to commercial development and performance reporting across Bereavement Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the crematorium, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and environmental standards.
- Supervise cremations and funeral services, providing visible leadership and frontline support.
- Drive commercial growth through service innovation and partnership development.
- Ensure robust health and safety practices, including audits, inductions, and risk assessments.

About You
You will be an experienced with:
- A willingness to learn cremation legislation and bereavement service standards.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage contractors.
- Commercial awareness and performance management experience.
- A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
