Crew Trainer

As a Crew Trainer, you will actively promote and role model exceptional customer experience, and monitor Crew Members, working alongside them and providing feedback and coaching as required. You will handle customer complaints professionally, efficiently, and confidently in a way that makes the customer feel they have been listened to. Your ability to build trust-based relationships through active listening, feedback, coaching, and providing recognition will be key to supporting a positive work environment.

What does a day as a Crew Trainer look like?

• Role model the handling of products and customers orders, carefully ensuring they are well presented and monitor food quality throughout the shift.
• Carry out all tasks to the highest standard and rally Crew Members to do the same while actively leading them to complete tasks and activities in allocated areas.
• Follow secondary responsibilities and support achieving daily shift targets.
• Lead areas, providing coaching and direction to all crew, identifying barriers to service and production, and proactively take remedial action when necessary.
• Work as an integral part of the restaurant team supporting management, actively driving restaurant goals and targets, and ensuring that everyone’s actions contribute towards achieving them.
• Provide regular feedback to Crew Members on shift targets and performance and take on responsibility for your own learning and development, and that of those around you.
• Support colleagues to grow and develop.
• Actively reinforce and exceed McDonald’s levels of cleanliness and food hygiene and implement this into all workplace safety and security procedures.
• Keep up to date with knowledge on our menu and promotions.
