About The Role
We are currently seeking a Crew Training Planner and Administrator to join our friendly and exceptionally talented Team. Reporting to the Crew Training Supervisor you will assist in the day to day duties of the training team.
The role’s key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Programming of all training, checking and recurrent requirements in coordination with the respective departmental crewing team.
- Monitoring crew expiries and notification of crew ahead of expiry, ensuring all systems are updated accurately as required following training.
- Control of the integrity of data input into Leon/Centrik.
- Assessment of training requirements (in conjunction with Crew Training Supervisor / Fleet Captains) for new joiners, devising the initial training plan and initialisation of a new Centrik training workflow. Updating the training workflow when training items are completed and keeping the Crew Training Supervisor/Head of Training updated on progress.
- The Provision of training folders for new crew, including creation of Centrik training records and LEON endorsement profiles.
- For Flight Training events, the liaison with instructors, coordination of aircraft allocation, planning and notification of dates and phases in accordance with syllabus.
- The booking of flight examinations (LPC/OPC/IR/Line Checks) with examiners, in consultation with business units and updating crew records once completed.
- Ensuring efficient and cost-effective scheduling of flight simulator and associated training by liaison with Fleet Captains/Lead Pilots.
- The Planning and booking of recurrent ground training courses, liaising with internal and external training providers, business units and candidates.
- The Booking of recurrent groundschool training periods in conjunction with Fleet Captains for each fleet.
- The Rostering of Crew specifically managed by Training.
- The booking of travel and HOTAC for training staff where required.
- The Provision of training forms for completion by training staff, ensuring these are returned promptly by training staff and passed to the Head of Training where necessary for sign-off.
- The Maintenance of flight and cabin crew training records, in both hard copy folder and electronic formats. Scanning, recording and saving all relevant completed training documents, ensuring that all training records are processed, recorded, saved and kept to a high standard in a timely manner.

Successful applicants will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Previous experience of working within the aviation industry and/or within a Training planning role would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong proven administrative, coordination and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good communication skills, efficiently providing both written and verbal communications across the company.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to build credible, trusting relationships within and outside the Training department
- Self-motivated, proactive and keen to learn and develop.
- Excellent I.T literacy and a capable user of the Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
