Cricket Umpire wanted - Want to earn some extra cash in the evening?
Powerleague is looking for a Cricket Umpire on a self-employed basis,
Wednesday evening, 6pm - 10pm @ St Regis C of E Academy
Role And Department Overview
Powerleague operate small sided sports leagues in over 300 towns involving more than 7,000 teams and 65,000 footballers across the UK.
This role is integral to the way the Powerleague deliver leagues to the customer and you will be fundamental in achieving high level customer service and quality league management.
Key Responsibilities
Your tasks are unique to the league industry and varied but they will include:

- Officiating multiple games on a league night to the highest standard
- Ensuring fair and professional delivery of games
- Having a customer-first approach to problem resolution to ensure customers leave the pitch having had a world-class experience
- Looking after equipment such as bibs, footballs, cones and ensuring stock loss is minimized
- Dealing with general customer queries
- Building rapport with league teams to ensure they remain loyal customers
- Completing a check of the playing surface to ensure the pitch is in a suitable condition from a health and safety point of view
- Dealing with basic first aid and reporting incidents using the correct protocol to ensure we have a record of any issues
- Ensuring scores and costs are fed back correctly in a timely manner

Requirements
Essential
- A passion for people and delivering a first-class event
- Experience in a customer-facing environment with evidence of excellent customer service skills
Desirable
- First aid trained & DBS checked
- Play Cricket App
- Full driving licence and car
- Cricket qualification
