Crime and Intelligence Manager
Job Description
- Day to Day Supervision
- Supervise the client's Crime & Intelligence team
- Crime & Intelligence Analysis
- Produce analysis to support analytical team and set best practice standards
- Mentoring and Training
- Mentor, train, and develop Crime Analysts to meet national standards and provide excellent customer service
- Partnership Management
- Lead local and national crime partnership assessments, reviews, and relationship management
- Process Improvement
- Develop, review, and improve analytical processes and procedures for high standards and efficiency
- Intelligence-Led Deployment
- Promote intelligence-led deployment of security resources and identify additional opportunities
- Collaboration
- Work with other support functions and departmental leads for effective workflow and collaboration
- Team Leadership
- Lead the team in alignment with company values, fostering potential and exceeding client expectations
- Problem Solving
- Involve the team in problem-solving, workflow creation, and improvement ideas
- Performance Management
- Manage the team proactively to ensure high performance and attendance
- Customer Service
- Ensure customer calls and requests are responded to within target guidelines, providing excellent customer experience
- Compliance
- Ensure processing standards are high, minimize errors, and comply with GDPR and other relevant legislation
- Escalation
- Escalate incidents outside of experience or control and follow specified actions
- Intelligence Networks
- Identify and maintain partnerships with public, law enforcement, and government agencies
- Intelligence Partnerships
- Assess, define, and lead intelligence partnerships to create long-term value for the client
- Internal Network
- Work with the internal intelligence network to leverage resources in support of the client
- Ad-Hoc Projects
- Complete designated projects on time and to a high standard of quality

Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience
- Demonstrate leadership skills and experience in managing teams of professional crime analysts
- Excellent report-writing and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and bespoke software
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a strong teamwork ethic
- Good educational background and command of written and spoken English
- Experience in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
- Reliable, flexible, and discreet
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to accurately follow detailed processes
- Positive attitude and ability to deal with pressure professionally
Desirable Skills And Experience
- Knowledge of the retail market and/or experience in law enforcement
- Relevant security industry experience, understanding of SOC requirements and processes
- SIA Licence holder - CCTV & minimum non-front line Guarding (Training can be provided)
- Experience in achieving SLAs, identifying gaps against standards, and implementing improvement solutions
- Previous achievement of performance targets and driving performance through metrics
- Flexibility in working hours
