Description

⚖️ Crime & Regulatory Paralegal

📍 London

🚀 A Career Opportunity, Not Just a Paralegal Role

If you're a Law or Criminology graduate with a genuine interest in criminal, regulatory or inquest work, this is an exceptional opportunity to build a long-term career in a fascinating and highly specialised area of law.

Working directly alongside a Leading Partner in the field, you'll gain hands-on exposure to complex regulatory investigations, motor crime cases and inquests from day one. Rather than sitting behind a desk carrying out routine administrative tasks, you'll be involved in real cases, attend hearings and conferences, work closely with barristers and clients, and develop the practical skills that form the foundation of a successful legal career.

🎓 Whether you're looking for your first legal role after university, have gained some legal work experience, or you're already working as a paralegal and looking to take the next step with a recognised specialist team, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll become an integral part of the team, supporting a Lead Lawyer on a varied and challenging caseload by:

  • Attending conferences, hearings, inquests and case strategy meetings
  • Taking accurate and detailed notes, capturing key decisions, advice and action points
  • Liaising with courts, barristers, clients, experts and regulatory bodies
  • Preparing hearing papers, bundles and supporting documentation
  • Assisting with legal research, chronologies, document reviews and case preparation
  • Helping to coordinate complex cases and ensuring important deadlines are met

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
