Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for a Crime Review Officer to work within the Staffordshire Police Force. This is a Temporary position.
Location: Stone
Hourly Rate: £14.55 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Driving Required: Yes (Driving on occasion maybe will be required for the role to - Leek ST13 6QT)

About The Role
As a Crime Review Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that historic evidential case files are thoroughly reviewed. Your mission? To assess whether these cases meet the necessary criteria for further investigation. You will dive into the nature of the recorded crimes, analyse the volume of victims and suspects, and help shape the future of public safety in our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyse historic evidential case files in paper format.
- Identify key points and assess the relevance of cases for further review.
- Handle sensitive information, particularly cases involving sexual offences, with the utmost professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure thorough and accurate assessments.

What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Experience in reviewing high volumes of information, ensuring accuracy and detail.
- A background in policing or crime review is highly desirable.
- PIP 2 accreditation would be a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify key issues from complex data.
- A compassionate approach to handling sensitive information.
