Crime Solicitor
Our Legal 500 and Chambers ranked client is seeking a Crime Solicitor to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of criminal matters, including theft, assault, drug offences, and other criminal offences.
- Conduct legal research, analyse case law, and prepare legal arguments to support clients’ cases.
- Provide clear and effective legal advice to clients throughout the criminal justice process.
- Represent clients in Magistrates’ Court proceedings and advocate effectively on their behalf.
- Prepare and present cases, with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Liaise with clients, barristers, and other professionals to ensure effective case management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and legal documentation.

Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with 1–3 years’ PQE in criminal law.
- Strong knowledge of criminal law, procedures, and regulations.
- Experience independently managing a varied criminal caseload.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and case management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Committed to delivering high-quality client service and achieving positive outcomes.
