Crime Solicitor

A leading national law firm is seeking a Crime Solicitor to join their motor crime and regulatory department.

Role

In this role you will be responsible for progressing motor crime cases from the initial investigation stage through to conclusion and your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Analysing prosecution evidence and drafting statements
  • Attending trials, hearings and inquests to take a full note for insurer clients in respect of civil liability claims
  • Assisting in the preparation of trials/hearings when representing defendants.
  • Drafting written submissions and reviewing evidence
  • Carrying out legal research and liaising with police, Crown Prosecution Service and regulators
  • Liaising with experts

Candidate

Please apply if you are a qualified solicitor with police station accreditation. You must have a strong knowledge of criminal law, including civil procedure and litigation processes.

You should have a proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
