⚖️ Criminal Defense Solicitor | London (E15)
£40,000 – £60,000 DOE | Permanent | Full-time
We’re working with a growing London-based legal practice that is looking to appoint a Criminal Defense Solicitor to join its team.
This opportunity is open to NQ Solicitors through to experienced Criminal Defence Solicitors, making it an excellent option for someone looking to build a long-term career in criminal law.
🔹 The Opportunity
You’ll manage a varied criminal defence caseload, advising and representing clients throughout their cases. The role will include Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court work, as well as police station attendance, providing plenty of opportunity to develop your advocacy and client-management skills.

You’ll be trusted to take ownership of your caseload while working within a supportive and growing practice.
👤 We're Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Criminal defence experience through training or post-qualification
- Genuine interest in developing a career in criminal law
- Good understanding of criminal procedure
- Strong communication and client-care skills
- Organised, resilient and able to manage a busy caseload
- Comfortable with, or keen to develop, advocacy skills
- Willingness to attend courts and police stations
Police Station Accreditation, Duty Solicitor status, Higher Rights and Legal Aid experience are advantageous but not essential.
