Criminal Duty Solicitor – Central & South London – Excellent Benefits + Out of Hours Rate
We are working with a highly regarded, Legal 500 ranked law firm to recruit a Criminal Duty Solicitor to join its expanding Criminal Defence team in Central or South London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Criminal Solicitor looking to develop their career within a well-established criminal defence practice, with exposure to a broad range of serious and complex matters.
The team regularly handles cases involving serious violence, murder, terrorism, complex drug conspiracies, serious sexual offences, and high-value fraud, providing an excellent opportunity to gain experience on challenging and high-profile work.
The Ideal Candidate
- Criminal Solicitor with experience in Criminal Defence
- Duty Solicitor accreditation, or a willingness to work towards accreditation
- Strong advocacy and client care skills
- Comfortable managing a busy caseload and working with multiple clients
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- A meticulous approach with strong attention to detail
- Enthusiastic about developing within serious and complex crime
- Willingness to contribute to the firm's Duty and out-of-hours rota
- Able to work five days per week from the Central or South London office
