Equans currently has an exciting opportunity for a Criminal Exhibits Officer to join our Facilities Management team working at Lewisham police station. This is a permanent full-time position working 8 hours per day between 07:00 and 17:00 (on a rotating shift pattern), Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Reporting to the Facilities and Services Manager
- To receive and record all items of property requiring safe storage as well as retrieval of the items when requested in a timely fashion
- To ensure that the stores are kept clean and tidy at all times and to make arrangements with officers to destroy or dispose of stored items which are no longer required
- To ensure strict adherence to MPS property manual and procedures
- Working 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day between 07:00 and 17:00 (on a rotating shift pattern), Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
Who are we looking for?
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a diligent customer service attitude
- Will have excellent record keeping and problem solving skills
- Able to work independently and in a proactive manner, with the ability to manage own time to ensure activities are completed within agreed time frames
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
- Subject to security vetting by the Metropolitan Police
