Role: Criminal Lawyer (Remote)

Job Type: Contract
Payout: $140 - $400/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Criminal Lawyer to work on a contract basis. The role involves handling criminal defense cases, ensuring robust legal representation, and managing client consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in criminal proceedings, including court appearances and negotiations.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies for criminal defense.
- Draft legal documents such as motions, briefs, and pleadings.
- Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential outcomes.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with procedural requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school required.
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience practicing criminal law required.
- Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills required.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software required.
