Criminal Litigation Solicitor – Central London – Salary from £80,000
We are working with a highly regarded specialist law firm in Central London that is looking to recruit a Criminal Litigation Solicitor to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in criminal litigation, fraud or white-collar crime to work on complex, high-value and sensitive matters.
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced lawyers and counsel, advising sophisticated clients across a range of contentious matters. The role offers significant client exposure, responsibility from an early stage and the opportunity to develop within a specialist practice.
The Role:
- Advise clients on complex criminal litigation, fraud and related matters
- Manage high-value and time-sensitive contentious cases
- Work closely with counsel and other professional advisers on strategic matters
- Provide clear and practical advice to private individuals, business owners and senior professionals
- Liaise with accountants, financial advisers, trustees and other professional stakeholders
- Undertake detailed legal research, analysis and case preparation
- Manage matters with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility
- Develop effective case strategies and provide commercially focused advice
- Build strong client relationships and provide a consistently high level of service
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the wider practice

About You:
- Qualified Criminal Solicitor with approximately 1–6 years' PQE
- Experience in criminal litigation, fraud and/or white-collar crime
- Private client or tax experience would be advantageous
- Strong academic background, ideally with a minimum 2:1 degree
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of criminal litigation and procedure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable dealing directly with sophisticated and demanding clients
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex matters under pressure
- Commercially aware with a proactive and client-focused approach
