Criminal Litigation Solicitor – Central London – Salary from £80,000

We are working with a highly regarded specialist law firm in Central London that is looking to recruit a Criminal Litigation Solicitor to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in criminal litigation, fraud or white-collar crime to work on complex, high-value and sensitive matters.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced lawyers and counsel, advising sophisticated clients across a range of contentious matters. The role offers significant client exposure, responsibility from an early stage and the opportunity to develop within a specialist practice.

The Role:

  • Advise clients on complex criminal litigation, fraud and related matters
  • Manage high-value and time-sensitive contentious cases
  • Work closely with counsel and other professional advisers on strategic matters
  • Provide clear and practical advice to private individuals, business owners and senior professionals
  • Liaise with accountants, financial advisers, trustees and other professional stakeholders
  • Undertake detailed legal research, analysis and case preparation
  • Manage matters with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility
  • Develop effective case strategies and provide commercially focused advice
  • Build strong client relationships and provide a consistently high level of service
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the wider practice

About You:

  • Qualified Criminal Solicitor with approximately 1–6 years' PQE
  • Experience in criminal litigation, fraud and/or white-collar crime
  • Private client or tax experience would be advantageous
  • Strong academic background, ideally with a minimum 2:1 degree
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of criminal litigation and procedure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Comfortable dealing directly with sophisticated and demanding clients
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex matters under pressure
  • Commercially aware with a proactive and client-focused approach
