The Role

Criminal Litigation Solicitor | Central London | Salary from £80,000 (or + DOE)

We are delighted to be instructed by a highly regarded specialist boutique practice in Central London in the recruitment of a Criminal Litigation Solicitor to join their expanding team.

This is a unique opportunity for a Criminal Litigation solicitor with at least 1 year's PQE and experience in fraud and white-collar crime to work on highly complex, bespoke and high-value contentious matters.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced counsel, advising a sophisticated client base including high and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, public figures, business owners, senior executives, trustees, funds and professional advisers.

This role is ideally suited to an ambitious solicitor looking to accelerate their career through exposure to intellectually challenging work, significant client contact and exceptional quality matters.

You will be involved in:

  • Advising clients on complex criminal litigation and fraud matters
  • Handling high-value and time-sensitive contentious cases
  • Working closely with experienced counsel on strategic litigation matters
  • Providing direct advice to high-net-worth individuals and business professionals
  • Liaising with solicitors, accountants, trustees, wealth managers and other professional advisers
  • Undertaking detailed legal analysis and case preparation
  • Managing matters with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility
  • Delivering practical and commercially focused legal advice

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Criminal Solicitor with 1-6 years PQE
  • Previous experience in fraud and white-collar crime matters
  • Private client and/or tax experience would be advantageous
  • Strong academic credentials (minimum 2:1 degree classification)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly motivated and capable of working independently
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of criminal litigation principles and procedures
  • Comfortable dealing directly with demanding and sophisticated clients
