About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Solicitor with 6+ years of PQE to join our Criminal Litigation department. The role involves handling both Private and Legally Aided matters.
The Client
Our client specializes in all areas of Criminal Litigation, from minor traffic issues to serious fraud and murder. They conduct litigation from the Magistrates Court through to the Supreme Court.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing own caseload of Police Station, Magistrates Court, and Crown Court files
- Police Station and Court attendance
- Proactive business development and contribution to marketing efforts
- Supervising junior members of the team

Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified UK Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE
- Confident and experienced in managing your own caseload
- Experience dealing with a combination of legal aid and private clients
- Knowledge of Lexcel compliance is desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Efficient case progression and effective work practices
- No requirements to work out of hours
- Duty qualified or Higher Rights of Audience is not essential
