Regulatory & Professional Discipline Solicitor – Central London – Salary from £45,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a junior solicitor to join a well-regarded specialist law firm in Central London, supporting the continued growth of its regulatory and professional discipline practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor looking to build a long-term career in professional regulation and disciplinary law. You will work on a varied caseload involving professionals and regulated organisations, gaining exposure to complex and sensitive matters from an early stage.

The role would suit someone who enjoys challenging work, is comfortable working under pressure and is keen to develop their advocacy and client management skills.

The Role:

  • Represent clients at police stations, including out-of-hours attendance where required
  • Act for professionals facing regulatory, disciplinary and related proceedings
  • Assist with investigations and proceedings involving professional and regulatory bodies
  • Review, analyse and manage substantial volumes of evidence
  • Assist with case preparation, drafting and legal research
  • Provide clear and practical advice to clients throughout proceedings
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, counsel and other relevant stakeholders
  • Work to tight deadlines across complex and sensitive matters
  • Contribute to the continued development and growth of the wider practice

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor with approximately 0–3 years' PQE
  • Full Police Station Accreditation
  • Duty Solicitor Accreditation
  • Genuine interest in professional regulation and disciplinary law
  • Keen to develop advocacy skills and work towards Higher Rights of Audience
  • Comfortable representing clients at police stations, including outside normal working hours
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Motivated to develop a long-term career within a specialist practice
