Senior / Criminal Defence Solicitor
TSR Legal are proud to be working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Nottingham that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior/Criminal Defence Solicitor to join its specialist Criminal Law team.
This is an excellent opportunity to handle a broad range of privately funded criminal defence matters, representing both individuals and businesses facing investigation or prosecution by a variety of prosecuting and regulatory authorities.
The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and representation throughout every stage of the criminal justice process, ensuring clients receive clear, practical guidance and an exceptional level of service. You'll manage a varied caseload with professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity, helping clients navigate complex and often high-pressure situations.

The role offers exposure to high-quality work and the opportunity to advise clients on matters involving serious and complex criminal investigations. As the firm acts for clients nationwide, occasional travel to police stations and courts across the UK will be required.

The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ PQE (Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales)
- Experience managing a criminal defence caseload.
- Excellent advocacy, communication, and client care skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
- A willingness to travel when required.
