Criminal Solicitor 2+ PQE Warwickshire Competitive DOE Flexible/Hybrid Working Available

About The Opportunity

A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Warwickshire is seeking an experienced Criminal Solicitor to join its growing Criminal Defence team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor who is passionate about criminal law and client advocacy to join a supportive and respected practice with a strong reputation across the region. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of criminal matters while providing exceptional client care and representation.

The Role

You will advise and represent clients on a broad range of criminal law matters, including:

  • Police station representation
  • Magistrates Court advocacy
  • Crown Court matters
  • Motoring offences
  • Assault and public order offences
  • Drug-related offences
  • Theft and fraud matters
  • General criminal defence work

You will work closely with clients throughout the legal process, providing clear advice and robust representation while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Solicitor status in England and Wales
  • Experience handling a criminal law caseload
  • Duty Solicitor accreditation (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong advocacy and communication skills
  • A client-focused approach
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and case management skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to attend courts and police stations as required
