About The Role
This role involves managing a varied caseload of criminal defence matters, from police station representation through to Magistrates’ and Crown Court advocacy. A Criminal Solicitor with at least two years’ PQE is sought by a reputable Warwickshire firm. Day-to-day duties cover motoring, assault, public order, drug, theft, and fraud cases. The position offers full-time hours with flexible and hybrid working arrangements available. A competitive salary is offered, dependent on experience. The successful candidate will join a supportive legal team and handle serious and general defence work. Strong case management and advocacy skills are essential. Requirements
Applications are welcomed from those with at least 2 years of experience in handling Criminal law matters. The ideal candidate will also possess:
- Qualified Solicitor status in England & Wales
- Experience handling a criminal law caseload
- Duty Solicitor accreditation (desirable but not essential)
- Strong advocacy and communication skills
- A client-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and case management skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to attend courts and police stations as required
