Criminal Defence Department Solicitor Positions
Sternberg Reed LLP is continuing to grow its Criminal Defence Department, and we are looking for ambitious and motivated solicitors to join our award-winning team.
We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Duty Solicitors through to Partner-Level candidates.
Location: 📍 East London & Essex
Role Overview: The role will involve a varied criminal defence caseload, including:
⚖️ Magistrates’ Court advocacy
⚖️ Crown Court case preparation
🚔 Police Station representation
📂 Privately funded and high-quality legal aid work
Qualifications: We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience in criminal defence work
- Are qualified Duty Solicitors
- Have excellent client care and communication skills
- Are organised and able to manage a varied caseload
- Have a proactive and collaborative approach
- Are willing to attend courts and police stations across East London and Essex
- Share our commitment to providing exceptional legal services
