About The Team
Do you want to help make a real difference to people and communities across Warwickshire?
We have an exciting opportunity for two Crisis and Resilience Fund Officers to join our Community Partnerships Service and play a key role in delivering Warwickshire’s approach to the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF).
The CRF is designed to provide effective support for people experiencing financial crisis while also helping individuals and communities build greater financial resilience for the future.
These are varied roles which will give you the opportunity to work across the Council and with a wide range of voluntary and community organisations and public sector partners, helping to turn funding into practical support for Warwickshire residents.
About The Role
As a Crisis and Resilience Fund Officer, you will support the effective delivery, governance and management of the Council’s CRF programme. You will help ensure funding is allocated and administered in line with Council priorities and Department for Work and Pensions requirements.
Your work will include:
- Coordinating key elements of Warwickshire’s Crisis and Resilience Fund programme;
- Developing and managing relationships with funded organisations and other partners;
- Supporting the development and management of grant funding agreements;
- Coordinating elements of the CRF Community Grant Scheme, including application, assessment and monitoring processes;
- Monitoring delivery, outcomes and compliance and contributing to financial and performance reporting;
- Working with colleagues in areas including Procurement, Legal, Communications and Business Support;
- Providing advice and guidance to voluntary and community organisations, Council colleagues and elected members;
- Supporting the development of Warwickshire’s approach to financial resilience; and
- Bringing organisations together and helping develop effective local responses to financial hardship and resilience.
Although there are two posts, there will be plenty of opportunity to work collaboratively. In practice, each officer will lead on different areas of work, with responsibilities rotated periodically so that both postholders can develop and maintain experience across the programme.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Key Requirements
We’re looking for people who are confident building relationships and working collaboratively with a wide range of partners.
You will need to be organised, adaptable and comfortable managing competing priorities. You’ll be able to communicate clearly with different audiences, provide sound advice and guidance, and handle sometimes challenging conversations professionally and sensitively.
You will enjoy taking ownership of your work while being part of a supportive team, and you’ll be motivated by the opportunity to help improve outcomes for Warwickshire’s residents and communities.
Experience of partnership working, grants or funding programmes, project or programme coordination, contract or performance management, community development or financial inclusion would be particularly relevant to these roles.
