We are recruiting for a Crisis Management Centre (CMC) Analyst to join the Crisis Management team of one of the world's most prestigious financial institutions based in the City of London.
Job Description
Working as part of a dedicated team covering Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), a CMC Analyst primarily monitors and responds to security incidents, both internal (e.g. facilities issues impacting operations) and external (e.g. security and geopolitical events). This involves working under pressure to deliver precise and timely escalation and communication.
Secondary responsibilities include geopolitical risk analysis, threat intelligence, travel security, business continuity, investigations, and information management.
This is an opportunity to join a best-in-class Crisis Management function, gain exposure to global incidents, and develop specialist skills in crisis response, intelligence, and operational resilience in the corporate security sector.
Working Pattern
This is a business-critical 24/7 operation operating on a rotating six-week shift pattern.
Candidates will be required to work a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour day shifts, and 12-hour night shifts throughout the year, including weekends and public holidays, and to cover for colleagues during holiday, sickness, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Crisis & Incident Management: Preparing for, escalating, responding to, and recovering from incidents in line with established guidelines; involves strategic planning, real-time decision-making, multitasking, and clear communication under pressure.
- Intelligence & OSINT Analysis: Collecting, evaluating, and interpreting information from diverse sources, including via OSINT, to identify patterns and trends for risk analysis and threat intelligence.
- Security: Safeguarding the organisation's people and assets, and information by working closely with Building Security to manage onsite incidents.
- Travel Security: Assessing and mitigating risks for business travellers; includes tracking high-risk travel, monitoring global threats, and responding to incidents.
- Business Continuity / Operational Resilience: Ensuring the organisation's ability to anticipate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptive events to maintain critical service delivery.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
We are looking for an individual who is skilled in intelligence analysis, remains calm under pressure, and is able to adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
Essential Criteria
- Higher education and/or professional experience in one of the following fields: security, international relations, intelligence, law enforcement, military, or business resilience.
- Strong understanding of geopolitics, international security, and current affairs in the EMEA region.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn and apply new technical tools and processes to support real-time incident response and operational decision-making.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills tailored to various audiences and circumstances.
- Excellent MS Office, IT, and social media skills.
- Ability to operate in high-pressure or crisis situations in a calm and efficient manner.
- Strong knowledge of open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools, techniques, and platforms.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Desirable
- Experience within a Security Operations Centre (SOC), GSOC, or Crisis Management environment.
- Master's degree in Intelligence Studies, Security Studies, or International Relations.
- In-depth regional knowledge of EMEA or areas within it, especially Middle East or Western Europe.
- Additional languages relevant to EMEA.
