Crisis Recovery Worker – Blackpool Haven
Location: 259 Whitegate Drive, Blackpool, FY3 9JL
Working Hours: 37 hours per week. The service operates 10am-10pm 7 days per week, 365 days of the year. The shifts can be 10am-6pm or 2pm-10pm. Some staff prefer to work 10-10 which can be accommodated. You will be required to work flexibly and to work weekends and late shifts (2pm-10pm).
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,877.80 - £30,868.31 per annum
Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band.

Right now, our Community Crisis service in Blackpool is looking for someone like you to support people in the community, concentrating on their personal goals and aspirations. The chances are, you already work in the mental health field. What is for certain is that you're caring, consistent, flexible and creative, work well under pressure, know how to connect with people at all levels and, like us, are keen to break down the stigma of mental health.
Duties
- Liaising with clinical teams to discuss referrals and clinical presentation of service users, leading on risk management and safety planning for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis and introducing therapeutic tools and interventions to service users tailored to their particular needs.
- Entering accurate case notes onto our IT system.
- Regularly liaising with GP surgeries, the local council, charities etc. or promoting the service within the community.
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

- Good IT skills, including in Word, the use of databases and email
- Able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Service and people using services
- Experience of working with vulnerable people or those with complex needs
