Locations: Tottenham, Enfield, and surrounding areas across North London and Hertfordshire
We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. For us, attitude and commitment are just as important as professional experience. While previous experience working with children and young people is highly desirable, we are equally interested in candidates who have relevant lived experience supporting vulnerable or high-risk children and can demonstrate strong transferable skills.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
- Be resilient, empathetic, and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Think quickly on their feet and respond effectively to challenging situations.
- Always put the needs and wellbeing of the child at the centre of their practice.
- Bring a skill, talent, hobby, or interest that can inspire, engage, and positively influence young people.
- Be capable of building positive, trusting relationships with children who may have experienced trauma or adversity.
- Be comfortable working long shifts, including 24-hour and 48-hour shifts.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable young people.
- Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working within children's residential care, supported accommodation, education, youth work, social care, or similar settings.
- Personal lived experience supporting vulnerable or high-risk children, with demonstrable transferable skills.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the DBS Update Service.

Locations
Current placements are based in Tottenham and Enfield, although shifts may also be available at other locations throughout North London and Hertfordshire.
