What You’ll Do
No two days will be the same. As a Children’s Support Worker, you’ll:
- Provide trauma-informed care to keep young people safe and supported
- Build positive, trusting relationships
- Encourage healthy routines and life skills
- Support with education, meal preparation, and medical appointments
- Champion their voice—ensuring they’re heard and valued
- Drive young people to appointments or activities (using your own vehicle)
- Help them gain confidence and hope

What We’re Looking For
✔ Experience working with children or young people (paid/voluntary) ✔ Full UK driving licence + access to a car ✔ Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience ✔ Flexibility for varied shifts (including weekends, sleep-ins, and waking nights) ✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care) is desirable but not essential—full training provided.
