About the Role
The Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team in Buckinghamshire Mental Health Services is a key part of the Urgent Care Pathway meeting the demands of the Ten-Year Plan to provide Crisis Response and Home Treatment Services to the county of Buckinghamshire.
Clinicians employed into the team are part of an exciting and developing service aimed at supporting our most vulnerable patients and their families in the least restrictive setting possible, by providing a variety of highly intensive interventions at home.
A Crisis can manifest with a range of needs and whether you have a background in mental health nursing, social care or occupational therapy we want you to use your skills as part of a team to develop individualised care packages for our service users and their families.
We deliver home treatment interventions, as well as an online acute treatment programme and clinics at Saffron House, with support from psychiatrists, psychologists and the other clinicians. Training in brief interventions is encouraged and fully supported, as well as any other training related to Crisis Intervention and Home treatment.
Service Users Access a Crisis Response In a Variety Of Ways, Ranging From Referrals From Their GP And Attendance At An Emergency Department, To When They Need Care In The Community And Are Seen By The Police.
