Job Title: Critical Care Paramedic

Pay Rate: $64.00-$65.00 per hour
Employment Type: Part-time
Availability: Must have open availability including weekends and overnights

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with your fellow employees to ensure top tier patient care.
- Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock – your work schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.
- Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses and registrations as a Paramedic.
- Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
- Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all state and city protocols.
- Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities and hospitals by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures as a Paramedic.
- Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
- Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
- Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.
- Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs or more.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- NYS Paramedic License and NYC REMAC
- FP-C or CC accreditation from a board-certified educational facility
- Driver's License (minimum of 2 years) and an acceptable driving record
- BLS (Basic Life Support) with American Heart Association
- ACLS (Basic Life Support) with American Heart Association
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) with American Heart Association
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Tech-savvy or comfortable with using technology
- Able to work on a team
- Respectful of colleagues, patients, and leadership
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull at least 125 lbs
