CRM Account Manager - Contract - Part-Time
Agency - Ecommerce
Location - London - Remote
Rate - £275-£300 per day - Outside IR35
This is an opportunity to join a growing CRM agency supporting ambitious e-commerce brands. You'll play a key role in managing client relationships, coordinating delivery, and helping the founder create more capacity to grow the business. The assignment offers genuine autonomy, long-term potential, and the chance to become a trusted extension of a specialist agency team.
The Company
They are a specialist CRM and lifecycle marketing agency focused on helping direct-to-consumer brands improve customer retention and long-term value. Working across email marketing, customer data, and customer lifecycle programmes, they support clients with strategic and executional CRM initiatives. With an established delivery team already in place, they are looking for a freelance Client Account Manager to take ownership of day-to-day client management and delivery coordination.
The Role and Deliverables
- Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of e-commerce clients, building trusted relationships and managing ongoing communication.
- Coordinate internal delivery teams, including CRM specialists, copywriters, and designers, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to brief.
- Manage campaign calendars, priorities, approvals, and client requests, keeping work moving efficiently across multiple accounts.
- Communicate CRM and email marketing performance insights to clients, identifying issues, and ensuring questions are answered confidently.
- Support campaign planning, new product launches, promotional activity, and other client initiatives by translating requests into clear actions for the delivery team.
- Work closely with senior leadership to understand strategic priorities while independently managing day-to-day account operations and client expectations.

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong client or account management experience within an agency environment.
- Experience managing relationships with D2C or e-commerce brands.
- Good working knowledge of Klaviyo and a solid understanding of email marketing, lifecycle marketing, and customer retention.
- Confidence discussing campaign performance and responding to client questions in a professional and consultative manner.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and making sound decisions while recognising when escalation is required.
- Experience using project management platforms and collaborating with distributed teams in a remote environment.
